week 13: Swing dancing and more
Hi! So I've had a pretty good week, hope you all have too.
So last Wednesday I had a day off because it was basically parent's evening or as they call it 'Parent-Teacher Interviews' in the afternoon and I didn't have any classes in the morning anyway!
On Thursday, an assistant from Matane visited me and we went to a Swing dancing class. It was super fun and keep your eyes peeled because it's the subject of my next Her Campus article!
My weekend was very chilled out, which was much needed after the training weekend in Quebec City! I definitely had a good rest.
On Monday, I fell over in the snow for the first time! I took two steps out of the door and because a fresh layer of snow had covered the ice underneath, I forgot to be extra cautious and stepped onto the ice too confidently. I thought I was invincible in my snow boots but instead fell flat on my back! There were lots of cars around which was slightly embarrassing but very funny. I must say the rest of the working week has not been the same. It definitely picked up after that!
In the evening on Monday, we studied a bit of Quebec history at Francisation classes, which was interesting. It's important to know a bit of history about the places in which you live. I also had a really nice salted caramel latte from Van Houtte.
Yesterday, I sorted out my Amigoexpresses and accommodation for Montreal this weekend. I'm going to meet the Her Campus blogging team from Concordia University on Sunday! I'm really looking forward to it.
Today, I did a bit of shopping. I finally bough an AUX cable and adapter so I can now drive and jam in the car!
